Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This 8-hour training course gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (ages 12-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
We have launched a virtual 5k and 1 mile walk, and we are donating all proceeds to the COVID-19 small business relief funds in the areas our clinics are located in (Paducah Small Business Relief Fund, Mayfield-Graves County Small Business Fund, and the Marshall County Team KY Lake Fund). The cost is $20 for the event, $40 for the event plus an exclusive KY Strong t-shirt, or people can choose to make a donation in any amount. The walk or run may be completed anytime between now and May 31, and we’re asking people to post on social media when they’re finished, tag Atlas Physical Therapy, and use the hashtags #atlasmoves #teamkentucky #togetherky #healthyathome.
